Clearing Cache

Wipe that lag away! A no-stress tutorial for clearing your FiveM cache..

Keep your game smooth and lag-free by removing outdated or corrupted cache files.

Step 1: Close FiveM Completely

  • Ensure FiveM isn't running in the background.
  • Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and end any remaining FiveM processes.

Step 2: Open the FiveM Data Folder

  • Press Windows + R to open the Run prompt.
  • Type %localappdata% and hit Enter.
  • Navigate to the FiveM folder and open FiveM Application Data.

Step 3: Delete the Cache Folders

  • Inside the data folder, delete the following folders:
    • cache
    • server-cache
    • server-cache-priv
  • This will clear temporary data without affecting your character or progress.

Step 4: Restart FiveM

  • Launch FiveM again — it will automatically rebuild the cache with fresh data.
